Cecil Green Wedding - Larissa & Dean Part 2 24.07.2009 | Weddings

Larissa and Deans Cecil Green wedding was beautiful with all the little details just right. They used some of Vancouver's best vendors to make sure everything turned out perfect. The stunning green and chocolate brown decor and set up was done by Elana from Sweet Beginnings. Day of planning was masterfully arranged by Kerry from Fairy Godmother Weddings.
Here are some more pictures from their fabulous UBC wedding, and I promise no more kissing pictures.
Granny smith apples decorated the whole room to compliment the green and chocolate brown theme..
Close ups of the wedding rings as well as a great looking wedding cake.

Cecil Green Wedding - Larissa & Dean Part 1 22.07.2009 | Weddings

Larissa and Dean were married on a beautiful summer day at Cecil Green at UBC. They are such a fun and cute couple I couldn't narrow their blog post down to a reasonable number so I decided to break it into two parts. This first part is just them, no friends, no family, no details, just the bride and groom on their wedding day.

Some shots of Larissa getting ready as well as some casual portraits of the bride before the ceremony. I love it when I have a chance to catch these fun shots with just the bride.

Timeless

Sexy

Classic

Playful

Enter dean. Make sure you get a good look cause this is the only picture you'll see where he's looking at he camera.

You see these two kissed a whole bunch on their wedding day.
They kissed under a tree.
Twice

They kissed on the steps.

Cheek Kiss.

Beach Kiss

Happy Kiss

Dramatic sunset Kiss.

Love this shot, the sense of motion really captures the moment, and the kiss.

They are about to kiss here, that counts.

And one last kiss while dancing.

Stay tuned for some less kissy pictures in their next post.

Steveston E- Session - Lisa & Brian 14.07.2009 | Engagements

Our good friend Nancy introduced us to this amazing couple. When a couple is this fun and easy to shoot it doesn't even seem like work, more like hanging out with friends. We shot in good old Steveston, one of our favourite places to take pictures. Here are some of my images from the day.

Added some texture to this first shot for a vintage look. They both look so in love.

Having fun.
Having fun again, totally unprompted by the way.

Love the way this shot, captures everything about the couple.

I think this is my fav shot of the day. The moment right before a kiss is always a great shot. Super romantic.
Then we hit Timothy's for some ice cream. Added B&W with a little added grain for that old school photojournalistic look.

UBC Engagement Session - Sana & Evan 07.07.2009 | Engagements

Sana and Evan both went to UBC so they decided it would be a great place to shoot their engagement session. This fun fashionable and sexy couple were a blast to photograph. I think these images capture their love for each other as well as showing a bit of a playful side. Talking with this jet-setting couple has inspired us to pursue our dream of an overland trip in Africa, lets see if we can stick to it.

Rockin' the shades for some fun shots.

A little drama with a fashion flair.

Some romantic images.

My fav shot of the day, simple composition but I love it.

Dane and Nash 07.07.2009 | Personal

I shot these a few months ago when our good friends Steve and Lindsey were over for dinner. I am Nash's godfather so I have shot lots of images of him during his first few years. Well like many second kids Dane was getting left out so I made sure to shoot some portraits the next time we saw them. We got a few priceless shots.

Dane is cute, quiet and just loves to check out the world with his big beautiful eyes.

Here is another cute one.

Here is a shot of Nash, looks cute and harmless too right. We thought we would get some nice shots of the brothers together.

Then we get this beauty, probably one of my fav shots I have ever taken. Don't worry no babies were harmed in the shooting of this picture. Check out that technique we might have a futre MMA fighter on our hands. Anyways this is why I stick to weddings, way less chance of a fight breaking out.
